RESPONSIBILITIES:


Reporting to the TELUS Business Solutions on-shore BA counterparts (Sales, Consulting and Marketing), the Business Analyst will demonstrate practical knowledge of the business to business market, coupled with advanced analytical, quantitative skills that will allow to influence effective sales process management, strategic sales decisions and improvements in channel strategy.

The business analyst will also perform complex and extensive business analysis -- including workflow analysis, business requirements gathering, impact assessments, perform practical manual and automated business procedures and provide post implementation support to address operational issues.

• Responsible for knowing and monitoring the performance of the account’s sales product quoting and ordering processes
• Responsible for assisting Sales Specialists in the creation and completion of quotes and orders activities
• Monitoring and escalating orders as they go through the organization
• Creating reports related to orders
• Provide reporting on contract deliverables including, change order activity, MAC activity, and service levels
• Collecting , organizing data and generating reports from various sources (Insight, Calidus, SIMS) and analyzing key performance indicators
• Responsible for generating, updating and maintaining weekly Funnel Tracking, bi-weekly Team Sales Activity Stats and reviewing monthly miscoded opportunities
• Sales Incentive Management
• Provide ongoing support to the Consulting team regarding Funnel and Client-related projects (SOWs, POs, Invoices)
• Monitor and generate Consulting team’s Billable Occupancy time, Business development hours, Internal SOW, Practice/Personal De, Template development hours, Admin hours, Leaves and Time offs in SAP
• Process invoices from external vendors and ensure accuracy
• Responsible for mini management tracking of the TBS Client Care engagements (solution, resources, timelines, etc.), sends out summary, and follows up on tasks
• Developing accurate work plans for specific projects including, resourcing, costing and timing.
• Act as a liaison with respect to any new system enhancements, system, processes, reporting
• Taking a lead role in assessing the business impacts of proposed system implementation, or operational changes
• Engage, interact, lead and provide a feedback loop to the team and work in cross-functional teams to resolve issues as they arise
• Provide detailed reporting on Project status and issues to Management on a weekly basis.
• Determine ways to increase efficiencies and continually improve processes
• Compensation tracking for closed deals and capturing all changes required to commissions
• Help develop business data application to provide better and more efficient reports to our business
• Attend customer meetings both on and off site; be a crucial member of a team responsible for ensuring our clients receive the outstanding service they have come to expect
• Interpret client signed contracts to understand deliverables from the client and TELUS' perspective
• Develop and ensure sound implementation of policies, procedures and quality practices toward meeting customer goals and objectives
• Developing strong proposals and ideas and responding quickly and accurately to requests for urgent complex information

REQUIRED KNOWLEDGE:

• Comprehensive business knowledge and understanding of Business Solutions Strategic direction
• Strong knowledge of TELUS operating areas and practices is a definite asset
• Sound working knowledge of business and contract management procedures and systems
• Strong business acumen
• Strong problem identification and problem solving skills with the ability to create measurements and reports based on various business objectives
• Ability to analyze data effectively to support and resolve business problems and decisions
• Knowledge of the telecommunications industry
• Strong knowledge of SAP
• Demonstrated proficiency in developing accurate work plans for specific projects
• Sets high personal performance standards with a demonstrated ability to plan
• Organize and implement activity with minimal direct supervision, and in ambiguous situations

• Strong analytical skills with the ability to identify, relate and compare data from different sources; identifying underlying issues and problems and impacts in a detailed precise manner
• Ability to manipulate, troubleshoot, organize, and analyze information from various data sources including intranet reporting tools and MS applications

REQUIREMENTS:

* Candidate must possess at least a Bachelor's/College Degree in Business Studies/Administration/Management or equivalent.
* At least 2 year(s) of working experience in the related field is required for this position.
* Preferably 1-4 Yrs Experienced Employees.
