Service Desk Support

Responsibilities
1. Handles incoming calls, authenticates callers, and assesses IT infrastructure-related or application issues according to the information provided by the callers.
2. Implements incident management processes as prescribed by role.
3. Provides assistance to callers with questions/problems regarding IT infrastructure or applications.
4. Performs timely resolution or escalation of issues to appropriate IT Operations team or support group.
5. Conducts follow-ups from both users and IT Operations teams or support groups to help resolve issues.
6. Provides users with status updates on tickets’ progress, and gathers feedback from users regarding services and assistance.
7. Prepares periodic performance or status reports.
8. Participates in planning, implementing, and monitoring Support Desk initiatives.
9. Ensures completion of required and planned training courses.
REQUIREMENTS:

* Must have at least six months experience in a call center or service desk environment. Must be familiar in server administration or networking concepts, operating systems, and Microsoft office applications.
* Must have good command of oral and written communication
* Candidate must possess at least a Bachelor's/College Degree , any field.
