Training Supervisor | Sales (Quezon City)
RESPONSIBILITIES:
Officer-in-Charge in the absence of the Training Manager.
Screens, selects, supervises, and evaluates training staff.
Conducts comprehensive needs assessments and determine subsequent training and development priorities.
Plots all classes and training initiatives monthly.
Provides consultation to management for development of job-specific training, including research and evaluation, and selection of outside consultants and trainers.
Prepares pertinent training reports and statistics on a regular basis (annual and/or otherwise) for Management and Trainer Development Programs.
Plots schedules and assigns action items as necessary
May delegate work responsibilities as needed
Lead, train, coach, develop and assess agents in communication, customer service and other target areas of their position to meet objectives and maintain company policies and procedures
Provide appropriate and ongoing recognition for satisfactory and outstanding performance
Facilitate and create a teamwork environment
Ensure that all appropriate documentation regarding performance and conduct of all direct reports (trainers) is maintained appropriately
Responsibilities include training, planning, assigning, monitoring, and directing work
Rewarding and disciplining employees; addressing complaints and resolving problems
Train, coach and develop trainers (and trainees whenever applicable) leadership competencies and other areas of their position to meet long term career objectives.
Determines training needs of LOBs and may perform interviews and consultation surveys with management/operations to analyze training needs of each account
Formulates training plans and developmental programs, instructional modules and materials.
Revise training programs as a result of evaluation or of changing needs in the company
Conducts training and development activities using appropriate learning methodologies in accordance with company policies and standards
Coordinates with in-house and external training resource persons and prepares the necessary logistics for the training program. May also implement in-house and external training
Formulates and implements systems and procedures of evaluating the effectiveness of training and developmental programs
Maintains an accurate record of employee training and related records
Prepares pertinent training reports and statistics on a regular basis (annual and/or otherwise)
Identify and introduce process improvement initiatives for training
May conduct new hire training classes whenever necessary
Complete reports - monthly reports, status reports, training reports, etc
Keep current with the latest training techniques and methods
May design, develop and facilitate recurrent training programs and modules for Training
Create marketing materials for various Employee Development Programs or Organizational Development interventions

REQUIREMENTS:
College Graduate preferably Communications or any related course
Superior communication skills, oral and written
Demonstrated experience in training / facilitation
Knowledge of operation of computer based training systems, PC, TV/DVD, and multi-media projectors for facilitation purposes
Computer literacy with MS Office applications -- PPT, Word, Excel, Outlook, Moviemaker, etc
Strong presentation skills and superior in establishing working relationships with both internal and external customers
Experience in developing training materials
Solid research skills and instructional savvy to create clear and effective instructional content
Must be able to demonstrate the ability to exercise good judgment and make sound business decisions
Must be able to handle multiple and shifting priorities
Must possess excellent interpersonal, problem-solving, analytical and organizational skills
Must be team-oriented
Willing to work varied hours and days as needed
Must be able to maintain confidentiality and has a strong sense of integrity
