Systems Analyst

Responsibilities:

* Performs the role of a Business Systems Analyst. Ensures that all the scheduled nightly batch jobs are running in their respective timeframes and with adherence to their Service Level Agreements through proper analysis and decision-making of the business rules of each scheduled batch jobs.
* Monitors application in production environment.
* Provides Level 2 resolution of all the production issues through analysis and investigation of the nightly scheduled US batch jobs running in IBM Tivoli.
* Checks and analyzes the Oracle production database through SQL queries in order to verify and to determine the processing of the scheduled batch jobs’ workflows.
* Escalates and coordinates Level 3 issue resolution.
* Coordinates troubleshooting and resolution with infrastructure support and business users.
* Communicate with third parties to resolve integration issues.
* Coordinates application bug fixes with the development team.
* Validates application and infrastructure upgrades.
* Defect report.

Requirements:

* Candidate must possess at least a Bachelor's/College Degree in Computer Science/Information Technology or equivalent.
* At least 3 years of experience with supporting and monitoring of customer applications in production.
* Knowledge in Oracle 10g is a must.
* Knowledge in UNIX/AIX is a plus.
* Investigative. Likes activities that involve thinking, organizing and understanding.
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Effective time management skills and a team player
* Can work under minimum supervision.
* Willing to be on call beyond normal working hours and on weekends. Willing to work night/rotating shift.
* Applicants should be Filipino citizens or hold relevant residence status.
