SR. FINANCE AND PLANNING ANALYST

Responsibilities:

Position Overview: This position will provide analytic support for the Mill’s and Converting plants. The FP&A will support the month-end close process by gathering data and preparing routine reports.

This position will also be responsible for supporting the Division and Departmental Reporting including monthly and weekly reporting schedules but pulling financial data and performing high level analysis. He/She must be familiar with Financial Reporting tools and functions and need a strong background using integrated systems.

Specifically the FP&A Analyst will:
*
Perform Financial Planning and Analyze related activities.
*
• Capture key data and prepare routine reporting required to facilitate the month end closing at the Mill and Converting Plant
*
• Prepare and distribute ad hoc reports to assist the divisions and departments with the with the month-end close
*
• Prepare the Division reporting packages by running reports/pulling data to populate and distributing the routine
*
report package that includes metrics related to price changes and usage of raw materials, gross productivity analysis, and operating metrics
*
• Prepare standardized monthly department reports that support management requirements and finance departments review of performance with business owners
*
• Prepare other routine reports necessary to highlight key financial and operating performance including summary of inventory, the impact to inventory for changes in sales, supply chain analytics, and forecast assumptions
*
• Prepare monthly financial results presentation for salaried workforce
*
• Capture key data on weekly basis to ensure mill and converting plant meeting financial and operational commitments
*
• Other duties as assigned

Requirements:
Work Experience
• 4-8 years accounting/finance experience
• Experience in developing, running, formatting, and distributing financial reports
• Excellent troubleshooting and problem solving skills
• Strong analytical, logical reasoning and financial modeling capabilities.
• Strong communication skills (written and oral communication) and work directly with a broad group of senior managers in finance and the Business functions.
• Computer knowledge with strong skills in Excel and Microsoft applications, ERP experience, SAP Reporting experience preferred.

Level of Education
• University degree with a concentration in accounting and finance

• Advanced degree with concentration in finance or process orientation desirable
